BABY FURNITURE

BABY FURNITURE
Baby Furniture
Baby furniture is something that can make a home-sweat-home for a child. A place, where he or she would always loves to come back.
There is a huge variety of the baby furniture on the market. The process of the baby furniture is quite long. It goes from the color of the baby furniture that will match to the baby character and material (oak, cherry etc), to the size of the baby furniture and how it will feet to children’s room. Including the idea of what should be included into the baby furniture complex, i.e. desk, chairs, bed, sofa, dresser, bookcase etc. Keep in mind the sleepovers.
Baby Bedding
A Baby or Infant bed is a small bed (commonly referred to as a cot in British English and a crib in American English) specifically for babies and infants.
Baby beds are typically used as a bed for a baby after it is no longer safe to leave them in a bassinette. Baby beds are more stable than bassinettes and become desirable when a baby can roll. They have a lower center of gravity, a broader base of support and can hold a larger baby than a bassinette.
Baby beds are designed to restrict the baby to the bed. The sides are too high for a baby to climb and provide no footholds. The thinking behind this design is that if baby wakes up, she will return to sleep rather than roam around the house. To improve the reliability of the confinement, a top (solid or fabric) may be added to an infant bed.
Placing a baby into a baby bed can put strain on a caretaker's back. To reduce the strain on those operating a baby bed, many baby beds feature:
1- A mattress that can be in a raised position until the child is able to sit upright.2- A dropside, a side which lowers to ease the process of putting the child into the bed, but can be raised again to restore the integrity of the enclosure.3- Baby beds can be stationary or portable (portacots). In their portable form the beds generally don't feature a dropside, and portability factors are emphasised. Portacots are often made from plastics, are often smaller and fold into a compact package.
Design standards for baby beds include considerations such as preventing hand and head entrapment. Research has shown that the crib mattress influences SIDS outcomes; a new mattress lowers SIDS risk. Larger cribs are manufactured, generally for hospital use or for those with special needs. They may include a top, generally made of plastic or metal, to prevent a child from climbing out.
Child Bedroom Furniture
A Bedroom is a room used primarily for sleep, rest or sexual activities. It may or may not contain a bed. But a "Child Bedroom" is a room used primarily for sleep, rest ar child activities and it must contain a "Child Bed". Child bed which is specially made for a child.
In some cultures, dedicated bedrooms form an important part of a home. In others, spaces used primarily for other activities by day become bedrooms at night.
Child Bedrooms are usually used for sleep, rest and child activities. In addition to a bed (or, if shared by two or more children, a bunk bed), a child's bedroom may include the requisite closets and dressers, plus items such as a toy box, desk and other items. Some children enjoy a bare room, including only a bed and wardrobe. Most children do their homework and other work in their room.
